Lexi understands and values the importance of an individualized, collaborative, and client centered counseling approach. She practices with empathy, compassion, honesty, and open communication. Lexi utilizes several counseling techniques including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and a strengths-based approach to treatment. Opening up to others and deeply reflecting on ourselves can seem daunting, but Lexi's hope is to encourage others to practice self-compassion and self-care, and she gives them an open and safe space to do so.
Lexi has years of hands-on experience working with an array of populations including but not limited to: Adults, adolescents, and children of all ages who are struggling with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis, and developmental disabilities.
