About
I earned my master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2014 and started my private practice in 2015. I have provided care for clients dealing with end of life, chronic illness/pain, bereavement, abuse, addiction, codependence, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergence, job loss, and relationship conflicts. I have facilitated group therapy for grief and loss, substance use disorder treatment, and anger management. I was an invited lecturer to Families Against Narcotics to educate, facilitate discussion, and extend resources. I provide CBT, mindfulness training, inner-child work, guided imagery, and skill-building.
We begin by completing a thorough assessment to identify our counseling focus. We will collaborate to formulate your desired goals and to develop a treatment plan. In this plan, we will define the evidence-based treatment which will best serve your needs. After intake, you will attend regular therapy sessions at my office or through video, called telehealth.
Once you reach your goals, we will assess to identify new counseling goals or to begin our discharge process. Our discharge process can happen in one session, or we may gradually step down our meeting frequency. We may also schedule a check-in appointment a few months after we have completed our work. My door is always open to return to therapy at any time.
