My name is Amber Simons, MS, LPC, CPCS. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Georgia. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. I have over 19 years of experience in the mental health field providing therapeutic and crisis intervention services to children, age 4+, adults, and couples/families. I specialize in treating symptoms of PTSD as related to childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, grief, and marital/relationship issues.
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Person Centered, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Trauma Focused CBT. I have a national certification in TFCBT.
I offer virtual appointments Monday-Saturday. I accept insurances listed below and offer reasonable rate for self pay.
