About
Have you struggled to find a therapist who affirms your identity and respects your history, but also challenges you to face your fears? Whether you’re coping with anxiety or OCD, exploring your gender, or looking to strengthen your relationships, you deserve specialized care with an experienced, queer- and trans-identified, trauma-informed psychotherapist. My practice focuses on anxiety and related disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and hoarding, especially in queer/trans clients and people who have experienced family estrangement.
I'm an existential psychotherapist who uses tools like ERP and ACT to address avoidance and inhibition caused by negative developmental experiences. In our sessions, you'll learn to gently approach fearful situations and build a sense of safety and confidence. You'll also learn to approach difficult emotions, thoughts, and memories safely at your own pace.
I direct a small group practice in Manhattan, NY (and via telehealth in NJ, ME, VT, SC, FL, and NV) with a limited number of clients in order to provide personal attention and a high quality of care to each client. My practice is sex-positive, kink-knowledgeable, and poly-friendly. You can easily request an appointment online by visiting my web site.
