About
What distinguishes my therapy practice from others is that I provide a different element in addition to conventional psychotherapy, which is an abiding interest in freeing, developing, and refining our capacity for deeper dimensions of freedom and personal completion than conventional psychotherapy typically envisions. As human beings we are generally conditioned by our families, culture, and education system in ways that limit our personal truth and freedom. This leads us to, in small or large degrees, become somebody who we're really not. As a result, we feel diminished in the full expression of who we are and what we can become.
Our longing for a different kind of life, and our dissatisfaction with the status quo, are the sources of fuel we need to grow beyond our conditioning, and to truly flower in our individual and relational lives. In order to grow, we must have an appreciation for being honest and truthful with ourselves and others. I want to support this truthfulness in you.
You will feel this truthfulness and authenticity from me, and a commitment to creating an environment that feels safe, trustworthy, and tailored for success. I utilize several contemporary, evidence-based therapies, that I feel are the most integrated and powerful ones I've encountered. These help us go deep in our process, and ground us in real change.
What sets us apart
I offer psychotherapy focused on cultivating personal freedom and authentic self-expression beyond conventional limitations. By addressing conditioning from family, culture, and education, I help clients rediscover their true selves. My approach fosters honesty and provides a safe, supportive environment utilizing evidence-based therapies for deep and lasting change.
