About
I take a humanistic, integrative, and evidence based approach in my practice. My clients are the only ones who can bring about change in their own lives and I am merely a guide in their journeys. I have experience working in drug rehabilitation centers, EAP services, high school settings, with the Hispanic community, with those with persistent psychotic disorders and most recently in private practice with clients facing a number of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues among others.
My extensive and invaluable background has shaped my practice today and allows me to reach a wide population through my work. I am able to offer an empathetic, nonjudgemental environment that caters to your unique needs; making you feel comfortable and at ease. My honest and direct nature helps humanize the experience.
Based on mutual collaboration, I work toward goals focused on improving your quality of life. Through talk therapy, suggested assignments and encouragement to take action clients will be leaving the sessions with autonomy as well as their own tool kit to find the independence and empowerment they need to be able to eventually face challenges on their own.
What sets us apart
I offer empathetic, evidence-based therapy, guiding clients toward self-directed change. My experience includes substance abuse, EAP, schools, and private practice, addressing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I create a non-judgmental environment, collaborating with you to improve your well-being and develop coping skills for lasting independence.
