About

Life is full of unanswered questions which can show up as anxiety, anger, or self doubt. If you're struggling with the "why" behind what you're going through, that's where our work together can help. I provide an open and safe space for us to explore why you feel the way you do and how your past may be contributing to your present. We will consider all angles of your lived experience in making sense of the issues you’re facing. Angles like your relationships to others, your childhood experiences, instincts & gut reactions, and societal systems. My role as your therapist is to support you through the "how" of moving forward. My style focuses on getting to root causes of the problem and development of self. I help my clients learn about their body and its reactions to life’s stressors; how to regulate their emotions and increase tolerance for discomfort; and the role of choice in their lives. We develop coping skills and new ways of thinking in finding meaning in their suffering. I know life's questions can be overwhelming. While the work of better understanding yourself can be heavy, I make space to celebrate your wins and motivate you along the way. I know finding the right therapist can be daunting; we can have an initial conversation to see how we'd work together. If you're ready to dig into your life's questions, get in touch.
