The first thing that you have to understand about me is that, I'm not here to tell you what to do. I want to hear it from you. At Carolyn Park Therapy, I am here to take that walk with you. My approach to treatment is systemic. We did not get here and do not operate alone. There is the potential for every interaction to have an emotional impact. Let's take a look at how it all comes together.
I am looking to work with adults aged 18 and up who are interested in processing life. Whether it be to navigate life transitions (going into young adulthood), exploring one's self in relation to others and family ("Do I know them the way that I think I do?"), or looking into, "Who am I?"
My communication style is plain, direct and open. My goal is for my clients to feel like they can say literally anything with me. NOTHING is off limits and NOTHING will make me think anything about you, because I know life happens and it makes us feel, feelings.
