About
Having extensive experience treating young people both in private practice and Residential Treatment Settings, I understand the wide range of stressors young people face in this day and age, and the resulting symptoms – for example: how peer conflict, parent-child relationship difficulties, and social media addiction can lead to depression, anxiety, panic/overwhelm, substance use, identity crisis, self-harm, etc.
Working from a somatic approach, I help adolescents and young adults reconnect with the experience of being in their body, learning to live comfortably with feelings, emotions, and to express needs in a mature way. I help young people learn to manage the challenges that naturally come with the responsibilities of growing into adulthood.
As young people are learning about who they are, what matters most to them, and how they will make life choices that reflect their values and strengths, a skillful ally in their corner can make the difference. Please feel free to reach out if you or your young person may benefit from an ally on the path of healing and self discovery.
