About
I love working with individuals who are asking, "What do i want to create in my life? What do I want to move away from?". Life transitions in work, relationships, health, and faith, come to everyone, with accompanying fear, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and uncertainty. I work with a combination of approaches to help people reduce stress and return to a sense of regulation and mastery in their lives. My specialty is Somatic Experiencing as i have found that talk alone is not enough, the body needs to be included in growth and healing.
Somatic Experiencing is a naturalistic form of healing that will help you learn how to settle and release physiological activation from your body, so that you will be able to self sooth and feel empowered. I also draw upon family systems theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Process Oriented Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and others.
As a resident of Utah, I am particularly aware of faith transitions. As a retired Mormon, I honor all faiths and am comfortable working within each persons framework, or helping them to enlarge and deepen their perceptions.
What sets us apart
I help individuals navigate life transitions related to work, relationships, health, and faith. Using Somatic Experiencing and other modalities like CBT and EMDR, I assist clients in reducing stress and fostering regulation. I am particularly attuned to faith transitions, honoring diverse beliefs. Located in Utah, I welcome all.
