About
I am Campbell Swift, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field of mental health since 2013. Over these years, I have gained valuable experience helping adolescents and adults overcome both internal and external obstacles. My strengths as a therapist are particularly suited to assisting those living with depression and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, histories of trauma, addiction and substance use disorders, and personality disorders. I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Throughout my academic and work history, I have been fortunate to receive supervision and education from exemplary therapists and social workers. I seek to balance the spirit of social justice with the principles of evidence-based theory and practice.
I view therapy as an enhancement of strength rather than merely a treatment for pathology. I recognize that psychological challenges are universal and reject the common narrative that frames mental health challenges as "illnesses" or "defects."
