About
Change can happen the moment you decide to move toward it, as you may be doing right now. My role is to help you find your personal power and express it, while releasing beliefs, emotions, and habits that do not serve your true self. I want to help you develop your creative and productive skills to create the life you want, while providing emotional support through your journey. I work with many clients learning they are neurodivergent later in life, many that struggle adapting to college, and clients working toward body acceptance.
I help examine the origins of dysfunction and bring to light past that is affecting the present. I’m a pro-choice, LGBTQIA+ friendly, working on anti-racism, anti-diet, neurodivergent friendly, and body neutral therapist and I work to create a space for marginalized individuals. Part of therapy is also examining systemic structures that affect our lives.
I earned my doctoral degree in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have over 15 years of clinical experience with adolescents, college students, and adults. I teach knitting as a therapeutic tool for stress relief and mindfulness.
