About
I work with individuals from young adults to older adults seeking support through both everyday difficulties and major transitions and losses. I am skilled at supporting individuals with challenges including depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma and neglect. I also offer support related to parenting, from preparing to welcome a child into one's life, adjusting to the post partum period, and caring for children as they grow.
The initial focus of therapy is often addressing symptoms through skill building. Longer term, therapy may focus on relationships both with the self and important others. Therapeutic goals may include developing insight into feelings and actions, increasing self awareness, and improving communication skills.
I offer a warm but practical approach and strive to make the individuals with whom I work feel accepted and supported. I invite you to reach out for a consultation and to see if I would be a good fit for you.
What sets us apart
I support adults navigating life transitions, losses, depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma. I also provide parenting support from pre-natal through childhood. My approach blends skills-based symptom management with longer-term exploration of self and relationships. Therapy focuses on building insight, self-awareness, and communication skills within a warm, supportive environment.
