About
Chelse Pike is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs. She enjoys assisting children and their families with aggressive/oppositional behaviors, difficulties with concentration and attention, and challenges with expressing and identifying emotions. Chelse specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, poor body image, self-esteem, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Chelse completed her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Georgia.
Chelse utilizes an integrative approach by applying CBT, DBT, and play/art therapy techniques. These techniques help clients develop healthy coping strategies, challenge negative thoughts, self-soothe, learn distress tolerance and healthy communication skills, and allow children and adolescents to explore difficult topics in a safe, comfortable environment.
Remember, healing is not linear, as we are all evolving daily. Chelse would love the opportunity to walk with you on your journey to recovery and healing. Allow her to help you find your strength and rediscover yourself along the way. If you're ready to take the first step, please schedule an appointment with her today.
