About
David believes in not only helping the individual facing challenges, but helping that person also build their supports that are around them outside of session. David is a military veteran who knows the struggle of being trauma informed and also person-centered in care. What works for one, doesn't always work for the other. David believes in treating the person and not the diagnosis because we are not what the words say we are!
Rapport of understanding men’s mental health as a male in a female dominated field can allow for trust and understanding with both compassion and empathy at the forefront of the relationship. The same goes for being a veteran who has been deployed, as well as having worked in the building trades unions and the stress that goes with that job site performance.
If you want to be listened to and not just heard, believe me, there is a difference! David can help you explore and realize where, why and how you can control the variables.
