About
I have worked across a variety of mental health and substance use treatment settings for close to two decades. While I am trained in and utilize many different treatment modalities, Motivational Interviewing (MI) is at the heart of it all. I believe that through providing empathy, compassion and nonjudgmental support we can assist the individuals and families we work with in successfully meeting their goals.
My name is Dawna, I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC I) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts as well as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC) in New Hampshire. I received my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2010 from Springfield College.
