About
TRUST Peer reviewed articles published in recent years regarding and quantifying the importance of trust between a client and his or her mental health clinician indicate that the professionalâs education or credentials have less to do with positive therapeutic outcomes than trust between the client and clinician. Finding a clinician you might trust can be a time consuming proposition. However, a relatively quick and totally free phone call may give you an initial indication of whether the professional on the other end of the phone may be suited to help you with the present difficult situation at hand.
Experience matters. I have not only gone through the academic rigors of becoming a qualified/certified mental health worker, we have lived many of the experiences encountered in the therapeutic setting and in the Big Wide World. I am an engaged and creative fellow passenger.
Intervention theories come and go. I have the letters/credentials following my name and I know the theories, but more importantly I will listen to your story and understand that I am not the smartest person in the room when it comes to your history.
What sets us apart
Focusing on building strong therapeutic relationships, I prioritize trust and understanding. My experience, combined with formal training, allows me to listen deeply and collaboratively support your journey. I offer a free phone consultation to explore if we're a good fit.
