About
I am a clinical social worker with twenty five years experience working with individuals and families to resolve issues related to anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. I have extensive training in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Therapy sessions focus on techniques that provide strategies and skills for clients to develop new coping skills and improve their quality of life.
My practice focuses on helping clients with challenges related to life events such as divorce, employment issues, and grief. I work with adults and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and other traumatic events. A strength's based approach is used to provide therapeutic interventions that meet the individual's needs.
I have a long history in the Greater New Orleans area which allows me to connect clients to resources and specialized services.
