Hello everyone! My name is Devin Myers and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Lexington, South Carolina and have recently begun working with clients statewide via telehealth. I usually work with adolescents and their parents to address the barriers within their relationships that are preventing cohesiveness within the family. I specialize in repairing current/past relationship hurts, increasing parenting skills, anxiety/stress and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT). I believe that the parents are the medicine to providing their child with the bright future that they deserve. There is no better vehicle for change than a parent's love for their child. I get to come alongside that parent and help them overcome whatever barriers are preventing them from seeing growth in either their child's life or their own. My focus I create an environment where you feel comfortable being your genuine self. I have often had clients tell me that they feel as if they're talking with family when we have our sessions. It is my hope that we can develop a similar therapeutic relationship that will help you to be open and honest about anything you feel is holding you back in life.
