About
I believe that individuals can improve their relationships and lives through insight and acceptance, and by changing problematic behaviors. I offer support and guidance by creating a collaborative, welcoming, and empathic therapy environment. The relationship between client and therapist is an important part of the work, and I pay close attention to this dynamic as therapy progresses. My clients are typically college students, adults, and parents looking for guidance. My approach is informed by Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) therapies, I also draw from other modalities to customize treatment to each individual's therapy goals.
I have extensive experience helping patients manage and address symptoms related to a number of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, and OCD. My goal is to help patients feel better, live better, and improve the quality of their relationships.
I have experience helping young adults navigate the challenges of college and university adjustment, academic demands, depression, anxiety, and social dynamics. In addition, I offer Parenting Consultation to address challenging behaviors in children as well as children and adults diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities. I am an LGBTQ affirming therapist.
