About
I specialize in evidence-based psychotherapies that help clients build effective, practical skills to manage difficult emotions, improve overall mental well-being, and reduce stress in relationships and valued roles such as parenting and work. I have extensive experience treating adults with anxiety, worry, OCD, panic, depression, self-criticism, irritability, and PTSD, and I’m dedicated to providing tailored and impactful care for your needs. My goal as your therapist is to help you reach your therapy goals efficiently, build the skills and confidence to manage your mental health, and live life the way you want to live it.
I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ohio State University in 2013. My postdoctoral fellowship was at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) in Boston, a renowned clinic for treatment and research. I have expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based therapies and will recommend a treatment based on your needs.
I provide a warm and encouraging environment to work together in active collaboration. I help my clients foster hope and resilience to overcome life’s challenges and build their knowledge of how to improve and sustain emotional health and life satisfaction. Many of the clients I see successfully meet their goals for therapy within several months.
