About
I work with an integrative approach which combines the psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural approaches. Further, I am increasingly inspired by the most recent discoveries in developmental neuroscience. My method consists of working interactively with clients so as to encourage a dialogue with them which allows for a meeting of their cognitive and emotional experience as well as their unique behaviour and values, while ensuring that this dialogue makes sense for them.
I am interested in the issues that clients may be experiencing in the present while also exploring certain relevant elements of their past in order to better understand what they may be going through today.
Clients explore their thoughts, emotions and behaviour. They are also encouraged to become aware of their issues, of the impact that some of these may have on their well-being, to identify them and to find methods that will allow them to change their way of being and acting.
