About
Therapy can look like so many different things and assist in the healing process in many different ways. I am ready to assist in the journey of defining what therapy looks like for you. I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Iowa State University and a Masters degree in Social Work from Grand View University. I hold a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). I want to ensure the best possible experience is achieved through our therapeutic relationship.
While I have openings to serve Iowans from all walks of life and backgrounds, I have a passion for adults and those from communities of color. I believe cultural representation is very important in the mental health space. I am trained in providing trauma-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, but also pull from other therapy practices as well.
You’ve already taken a big step by looking for a potential therapist! The healing process awaits you if you are ready to take that next step. Please reach out today to get started, I look forward to hearing from you!
