About
I have been working therapeutically with adolescents, adults and couples for the past 14 years. I provide a therapeutic space where clients' feel safe, experiencing me as someone of whom can be trusted with their deeper thoughts. A client's feelings and goals are of the utmost importance to me. My wish is that that from the moment you meet me, you experience my highly analytical approach, coupled with genuine care and warmth.
My background is in psychoanalysis. Additionally I tailor my therapeutic style based on the needs of the clientele I serve which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, psychodynamic therapy, Ego psychology, Motivational Therapy and Solution-Focused Counseling.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, Masters in Psychoanalysis, as well as a doctorate in Psychoanalysis and Culture from the Boston Graduate school of Psychoanalysis. I am a former Division I rower, a mother of two and is a vinyasa flow yoga enthusiast. It is my pleasure to learn from each person who walks through my door.
