About

Psychotherapy can be a powerful tool when we feel stuck, confused, lost, or hurt. Gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves—along with greater clarity and awareness of our emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns—can transform the way we relate to both ourselves and others. By exploring our unconscious thoughts and the underlying causes of our struggles, we often find a greater sense of freedom, allowing us to feel more at home within ourselves and in the world. My work addresses a variety of issues: trauma, depression and anxiety, self-esteem, relational difficulties, grief and loss, gender and sexual identity. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy, an insight-oriented, open-ended approach that explores both present challenges and past experiences. In our work together, I provide a compassionate and thoughtful space where we can examine how past experiences and current challenges shape patterns within us, often outside of our awareness. Engaging in this type of deep self-exploration can be both demanding and unsettling, as it requires confronting complex emotions and thought patterns. However, with perseverance and patience, this process can lead to meaningful growth, strengthen interpersonal connections, and foster a greater sense of authenticity and agency in one’s life.
