I strive to provide an open, safe and respectful place for individual's to begin, or continue, working on their identified issues. My approach is to work collaboratively with individual's to facilitate person-centered strengths based therapy in order to help them accomplish their goals. I primarily work with folks that are navigating life transitions and struggling to manage day to day anxiety and depression in our chaotic world.
I have been working in the mental health field for a number of years in our local community, and much of that has been focused on helping individual's that are struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. I am trained in CBT and DBT, and will at times use this in conjunction with talk therapy, if appropriate.
