My name is Jose Daniel Go Rojales, but you can call me Dan. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) based in Pahoa, Big Island Hawaii. I work with couples, young adults, adults, and older adults dealing with relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma. I use Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy to help my clients progress and achieve their goals.
My style and approach are a good fit for couples, young adults, adults, and older adults who are facing challenges in areas of communication and life transition due to stress, trauma, anxiety, and mental health conditions such as: bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma.
My approach is based on Art therapy and Narrative therapy. It involves collaborating with my clients in uncovering the challenges that they are facing in their lives, supporting them in regaining control over their problem, and collaborating with them in re authoring a much-preferred life story in which their problems are no longer in charge.
