About
I completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. I have experience working with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety or depression due to trauma, relationships, life transitions, or grief/loss. I am also proficient in working with individuals and families to address and heal issues that emerge from attachment wounds and the family system. View 5 Photos
My background in corporate and small business gives me additional perspective into issues of career development and transition. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based. I have post-graduate training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
I strive to offer a safe, respectful environment for collaborating on counseling goals. I encourage clients to see the power of their own choices and perspective, to recognize their ability to grow, and to celebrate small but significant change.
