About
Have you ever wondered why you repeatedly feel, think, or act in a certain way? Especially when that "certain way" usually doesn't serve you well in the end and makes you feel worse about yourself? As human beings, we learn earlier in our lives than you might think, to adapt in our environment in order to get all of our needs met as best we can. Unfortunately, the maladaptive patterns follow us into adulthood and only serve to undermine our overall sense of well-being, which affects all parts of our lives.
Traditional psychotherapy, which usually keeps us in our heads, limits us from experiencing sustainable and long-lasting change. By including the body in psychotherapy; learning to truly feel it, understand what it is uniquely communicating, and how to honor it, is a key factor in achieving this long-lasting sense of personal well-being.
This is what I offer in my practice and what I believe offers anyone who is ready to do his/her own work, the opportunity to experience a life changing difference. The body doesn't lie, but it takes courage to listen to it's honest truth.
What sets us apart
I help clients understand how early life adaptations can create unhelpful patterns impacting well-being. My approach integrates body awareness with traditional psychotherapy. By learning to feel, understand, and honor the body's wisdom, clients can experience lasting personal growth and change. I provide a safe space to explore embodied truth with courage and compassion.
