About
In order to effect real and meaningful changes in ourselves we have to go deeper than just talking about what's wrong. Neuroscience tells us that over 80% of what we do, think, and feel, is out of our conscious awareness. This is why I use core-level modalities such as Hakomi, EMDR and Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) . These methods employ a mindfulness and somatic focus which helps us go deeper than our story. I will also coach you to practice mindfulness in your life which is essential in putting your sessions to work in your life.
I work best with clients who have some contemplative orientation as my practice is significantly informed by Buddhist psychology. I find mindfulness to be essential to working with experiential core-level modalities such as Hakomi or KAP. Often my work with clients results in greater spiritual connection so having an intention around this is useful.
Inside of you there is a being that is whole, healthy, and functional. You just need a guide to help you find that part of you; someone who has also been in the client seat and understands what it's like. I'm skilled, I'm compassionate, Let me help.
