About
Life often brings many challenges, struggles, and roadblocks into our path. Sometimes we fear that our pain and suffering will never end. All of us have experienced times in our lives where we have felt stuck, without hope, and in need of someone to walk beside us and listen to our story. My passion is to walk alongside you, helping you find hope and a way forward as you pursue healing and repair your relationship to yourself.
My main passion is to help those who struggle with eating disorders and body image. Some other clinical interests and experience include anxiety, self-worth, perfectionism, attachment, addressing family of origin and childhood trauma, and overall life stressors. I especially enjoy working with young adults.
My therapeutic approach is that of compassion, understanding, and empathy. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is the start to helping you find your way toward healing. Recovery is possible and I will work with you to help you find hope, acceptance, self-compassion, empowerment, manage behaviors, and develop tools to reach your goals.
