Welcome. I specialize in treating individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, grief & loss, life transitions, relationship issues, & women's health. My belief is that therapy is not about "fixing" but rather for investigating, for being curious about ourselves, & for bringing compassion to our lives for the multitude of ways we have coped with life thus far. Therapy is a fluid interchange that allows us to safely explore, challenge, & gain insight into old patterns, behaviors, & belief systems that have often kept us feeling stuck or held back from living fully. It supports and encourages us to take risks at improving our lives.
I am a LCSW with 20+ years of experience. My practice offers a mindful, holistic & integrative approach to mental health. I use a variety of treatment modalities including MBSR, CBT, & ACT. My work draws from a strong foundation in client-centered, relational & empowerment based theories, & I am practicing yogi & a firm believer in the mind-body connection.
