About
I am passionate about supporting all stages of life. I am a birth and death doula with years of experience in the medical field supporting people through grief, infant loss, medical trauma, new diagnoses or end of life care. I feel privileged to witness the vulnerability of the postpartum period and love supporting parents through normal ups and downs or postpartum depression and mood disorders. Other experience includes adoption and foster care, working with people living with HIV, people who use drugs and survivors of sexual violence. As a member of the LGBTQIA community, I proudly serve individuals and families of all identities.
I work with my clients to address and heal intergenerational and attachment trauma and unlearn what no longer serves you. I work from a strengths based and trauma informed perspective and honor each person’s somatic wisdom and inherent worth. I respect personal autonomy and always provide a space free of stigma and judgment.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
