I believe it takes a great deal of courage to ask for help. It would be a privilege to go on your counseling journey with you, whether this is your first time or fifth time. We will work together to help you overcome challenges and help you grow. Kathryn is a mental health therapist for adults, she uses a combination of techniques tailored to each of her clients' needs drawing from various types of approaches such as ACT, Mindfulness, DBT, and IFS informed techniques. Her clients can learn how to better understand and express their emotions while increasing ways to cope during times of stress.
Kathryn believes in a collaborative approach to therapy, working with you to develop a plan for growth and healing. She has a passion in working with college students, especially those in counseling or clinical programs, athletes. Some of Kathryn’s main areas of focus include life transitions/changes, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, women's issues.
Kathryn she graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor's in Psychology. She has experience working in a residential setting, primary care office setting, and typical outpatient setting.
