About
We are a team in this. I believe in teamwork during therapy. If the client appears to be doing most of the work, then that is extreme progress. If I as the therapist is doing most of the work, then we may need to rethink and regroup on the treatment to best fit the client. It is the client's responsibility to communicate with therapist on any issues or any adjustments that needs to be made. I want to walk alongside those who are seeking reach a better end and better livelihoods.
I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and working towards obtaining full licensure. I provide a laissez faire type of therapy based on client's current issues or concerns that need to be addressed. I provide trauma-focused therapies (TF-CBT trained) and cognitive behavioral therapies to help client process their current or past issues.
I work with individuals, families, and couples. I work with children, teens, and adults but is not limited to elder clients who are struggling a range of mental health issues (e.g., depression). Any individual, family, or couple willing to work on reaching to a better end are always welcome.
