About
I specialize in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of panic disorder, OCD, anxiety, challenging life transitions and depression. Using the integration of cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and relational therapy strategies, I believe successful therapy is achieved in the context of an accepting and supportive relationship. It is in the spirit of this collaborative approach that I coach patients through an effective process of change, addressing problems and symptoms so that patients can achieve change, meaning and value in their lives.
My work as a cognitive-behavior therapist is enhanced by my extensive experience in the arts. Trained at Juilliard, I gained international recognition as a dancer for the Stephen Petronio Company, and was honored with a New York Dance and Performance Award (Bessie) for Sustained Achievement.
At the Cognitive Health Group, I bring that same focus and dedication to helping people develop the skills to effectively face the full range of life's challenges. I am a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and the International OCD Foundation.
What sets us apart
Specializing in CBT for anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, depression, and life transitions, I integrate mindfulness and relational approaches within a supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to empower clients toward meaningful change and symptom reduction. Drawing on my background in the arts and training at Juilliard, I bring focus and dedication to Cognitive Health Group. I am a member of ADAA, ABCT, and IOCDF.
