My area of expertise consists of promoting the well-being of individuals and families that have been impacted by significant life changing events, distressing experiences and day to day stressors. I also specialize in early childhood and attachment and the role these play in adult relationships. I believe in creating a validating, safe, self-compassionate, and valued space to support you in reaching your goals and moving towards a more authentic self. In addition to direct therapy, I provide caregiver coaching and consultation and can provide strategies and tools to empower caregivers and their relationship with their child(ren).
There is no better time than now to take the first step in making sense of your story. Therapy can help you unravel acquired habits and find ways to shift ones that haven't been helpful to yourself or in relationship with others. As you start to shift mind, body and thought patterns, I will use integrative approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT and Mindfulness.
