About
I have a passion for working with children, teenagers, and entire family systems. Improving communication skills, navigating life transitions, and developing adequate coping mechanisms are just a few of the many topics I enjoy focusing on within the therapeutic setting. I have a family-centered approach, meaning I aim to include families in sessions with their children and/or teenagers as much as possible. I'm a firm believer that you can only see so much change in a child or teenager's life if they aren't allowing their family to work through those changes with them.
I vary the techniques and approaches that I pull from, depending on the individual client I have in the room. I utilize techniques of play therapy, CBT, DBT, structural and strategic on a daily basis. I have received extensive training in ERP and ICBT as well!
Recognizing you, or your child, could benefit from talking to somebody outside of your circle can be so difficult. I am here to make that conversation as comfortable and easy as possible. Please feel free to give me a call, and we can discuss your options!
