About
I approach my work utilizing an intersectional lens that considers the identities and life factors that contribute to your unique experiences. We all have our own story. I will work collaboratively with you, using evidence based interventions, to address your present-moment concerns and empower you to set goals, create meaning, and live your best life. I am experienced helping people struggling with depression and anxiety symptoms, suicidal behavior, identity concerns, relationships or family of origin concerns, sexual orientation/coming out, gender identity, trauma, grief & loss, life transitions, chronic health conditions, & more.
We will work together to identify your values and develop steps to live your life aligned with what matters to most to you. My range of clinical experiences have sharpened my therapeutic skills and cultural humility working with people from diverse backgrounds including ethnicity, LGBTQ community, underserved communities, immigrants, Veterans, women, & more.
The therapeutic relationship is essential for healing. I strive to create an environment of trust and provide a sense of safety where you feel empowered to share your deepest feelings or fears while building skills to foster meaningful change. I want to ensure that you feel heard, seen, and understood, and provide hope that your situation can improve.
