About
My aim is to help you feel less alone and more equipped to manage the uncomfortable experiences that stem from the wide-ranging impact of depression and anxiety. You may find that you are doubting yourself, feeling you don't belong, always anticipating the worst, avoiding people/events, having trouble in relationships, or turning towards unhelpful coping mechanisms. My approach to therapy focuses on building a connected and safe therapeutic relationship where we work together to adjust unhelpful beliefs, process feelings, increase insight, and set goals so you can feel calmer, confident, and more in control.
My approach integrates various techniques (Psychodynamic, Experiential, CBT/DBT). You can expect your experience to be both exploratory and action-oriented. I strive to have you leave therapy knowing yourself better and knowing where/how to enact change.
I encourage you to reach out to see if we'd be a good fit. Starting therapy can be overwhelming, but with the right therapist it can be empowering. Please call or email with any questions or to set up an initial consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
