About
I have a practice which focuses on assisting each woman become the healthiest version of herself. I concentrate on areas in which many women struggle. Some of them are: depression, eating disorders, anxiety, panic disorders, sexual abuse, postpartum depression and stress. In order to live an abundantly fulfilled life, a person sometimes needs assistance. My purpose is to aid in this goal. Additionally, I now offer a program for students or adults with ADHD which assists in awareness of time and organization. This is a fun nonthreatening program which is extremely helpful with this issue.
I have a Master's in Biblical Counseling, a License in Professional Counseling in Mississippi and a National Board Certification in Counseling. In 2019, I became Board Certified in Telemental Health. Originally from New Orleans, I taught learning disabled students before going back to get a Master's degree.
Previously, I have offered lectures and support groups in eating disorders. I taught psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi and volunteered counseling services through area churches. Located in Islands Counseling my office offers a warm comfortable atmosphere.
