Sometimes we wake up and things don't feel right. Things that used to be easy aren't anymore. We might not like ourselves. We may be grieving, but don't know how to do so in a healthy way. We may feel like we've lost our way; and that things are out of control. We may feel sad, or hurt, angry, afraid, confused, alienated, or stuck and we don't know why or how to leave those feelings behind. We may have trouble regulating our emotions. We may feel alone. It takes courage to face challenges and move beyond them towards mental and emotional peace. Thank you for being so brave and taking this first step.
My style is strength based and solution focused. I treat anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity, relationship, and self esteem, addiction recovery, dual diagnoses, emotional regulation, and navigating life transitions.
I work with adults; young and old, and adolescents. I integrate evidence based practices and experiential modalities including a focus on Mindfulness, CBT, and DBT. I strongly believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and appreciate your bravery in your collaborative effort to assert a positive change. I offer appointments M-Thurs. Some evenings.
