About
My approach is client-centered and culturally appropriate mental health services for individuals in a safe and therapeutic setting. I promote self-determination, explore strengths and resources, and advocate for improved well-being for all clients. As a therapist, social worker, and a board-certified music therapist, I can include creative therapy modalities as a part of a client’s experience if so desired.
I have experience working with adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I also have experience working with those in the military and with those who are in addiction recovery.
My approach incorporates motivational interviewing, dialectic behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy. My goal is to work together with clients to help them feel empowered and increase their confidence and hope that they can feel better.
