My name is Maya Butler, and as a Board-Certified Professional Counselor, I work with individuals to assist them in gaining more control over their lives, emotions, thoughts, behaviors, spirituality, and relationships. I work with clients that have challenges with family conflict, grief, intimacy-related issues, parenting issues, career difficulties, depression, compassion fatigue, communication problems, emptiness, family problems, forgiveness, guilt and shame, isolation/loneliness, life purpose, men's issues, women's issues, and workplace Issues.
My clinical experience includes over 8 years as a Professional Counselor in community mental health centers for mental health and substance use disorders, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. Together, we will explore the underlying causes of problems in daily living, changing problem behaviors, habits, and thoughts.
