Just like when you're on a hike and look at the trail map, you can see where you are in the grand journey. There are uphill climbs, downhill descents, challenging cliffs, and breathtaking views. My goal is to help you recognize the beauty and strength that come from standing firmly where you are, and to support you as you take your next steps with new tools and skills. While I can't promise the journey ahead will always be smooth, we'll prepare for it so you can appreciate the beautiful moments when they arrive. The journey is yours, and I'm here to walk it with you.
The time we meet is essential for growth. During this time, you get my full attention, listening ear, empathy and non-judgment so that you can feel safe and heard. Further, we work together on finding patterns that are hurting you and keeping you stuck, behaviors or thoughts. We work through things in the session together in order to facilitate healing.
It starts with a free consult call, where hopefully some of the pressure of working together is relieved. Then, an intake, where we dive into you and why you decided to make this leap to therapy. The most important measure of success in therapy is the relationship, and we work on building it together as we find ways to navigate through your struggles in life
