Melinda Humbert is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana who has been practicing since 2000. As a Mental Health Counselor, Melinda loves partnering with clients to co-create their recovery and personal growth. She uses a client-centered, strengths-based perspective to help clients achieve their desired well-being. Melinda's practice experience has focused on serving the mental health needs of students, both higher education and K-12, as well as working with adults. She has a specialty for working with neuro-diverse teen and adult clients, including those living with giftedness and twice-exceptional experiences.
In addition to this specialty, Melinda enjoys counseling teens and adults with a range of experiences, including identity concerns, sexual health concerns, life adjustments, grief, spiritual issues, and educational/professional concerns.
Outside of work, Melinda enjoys reading memoirs, chips and queso, textile arts, thrifting fashion and decor, writing, and going to music concerts and musical theater is her jam. She loves traveling with her husband and two teens. If she is not doing any of those things, she's likely on a walk with her 3 rescue dogs.
