About
Working toward a fulfilling life, while facing obstacles, can be hard. We all, at some point, find ourselves lost and stuck. I work collaboratively with clients to help them get through those stuck moments, to choose a direction, and to take steps toward the lives they really want. My methods are grounded in the proven Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which incorporates mindfulness and behavior-change strategies. ACT focuses on learning to live fully, even when painful things threaten to slow us down. I am also trained in several trauma-based approaches, including EMDR.
I will work with you to develop everyday skills to move beyond depression, anxiety, trauma, and long held anger. These skills, coupled with a clearer understanding of how to articulate your values and intentions, will give you the path and tools to live the life you choose.
Together, we will develop individualized homework plans, building on strengths and personal values, while creating daily opportunities for growth. Through my practice, I have had the pleasure of seeing people rework periods of grief and frustration into deep, positive transformation.
What sets us apart
I empower clients to navigate life's challenges and pursue meaningful lives using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and behavior-change strategies. Trained in EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches, I help individuals overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger. Together, we'll build skills, clarify values, and create personalized plans for lasting growth and positive transformation.
