About
I have a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community! As a member of the community myself, I know how difficult it can be to feel safe and understood by even a well-intentioned cis/het therapist. That being said, I believe life is best when we are living as our most authentic selves. You are worth building the life you have always wanted to live- and therapy can help! Whether it be learning healthy coping skills, gaining more clarity and ownership of your identity, processing past trauma to be more present, or building healthy relationships- whatever your mental health goals are, I would love to help.
I am trained systemically as a Marriage and Family Therapist - meaning I pay attention to not only you as an individual, but to everything going on around you. I believe a lot of the common depression and anxiety we often face is a side-effect of living in a society not made with our mental-health in mind.
Congratulations on taking the first step and hunting for the right therapist! If you think we might be a good fit, reach out and I would love to chat! If we are not the right fit, I would be happy to suggest other options, as well. Though you do not have to be apart of the LGBTQ+ community to use my services, no hate will be tolerated in my therapy room.
