About
All of us can feel overwhelmed by life at times. We are often filled with regrets, resentments and sometimes, this is compounded by past traumatic experiences, relationship issues, and grief. I particularly enjoy helping people achieve resiliency. I currently use the Benson-Henry Institute at Harvard Medical School’s “Stress Management and Resiliency Program.†I am certified to provide this program and have seen tremendous results. I enjoy helping with PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.
I use a variety of evidenced based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Parts Work(Internal Family Systems). I am level I trained in IFS. I bring a wide range of expertise in treating trauma, especially vicarious exposure to trauma and sexual assault.
I would like to help bring your life into balance, and heal issues surrounding trauma, relationships and grief. I begin therapy by creating a safe environment of empathy and confidentiality. Then using 30 years of experience in mental health develop a plan to assist you with getting back into your authentic self while improving your overall resiliency.
