About
Congratulations on taking this step toward healing. You are not alone. I have experience working with adults of all ages struggling with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, co-dependency, relationships, and life transition issues including young adulthood, marriage, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, separation, divorce, and grief.
I utilize a myriad of techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My theoretical orientation is person-centered, humanistic, and existential.
As a former family law paralegal and mediator, I bring a unique understanding of relationship and marital conflict to couples sessions. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. Providing a safe space for processing and healing is essential. We are in this together.
